Riverwood Elementary's 4th graders participated in a track meet at the local high school today, showcasing their athleticism and sportsmanship in various events. The event celebrated teamwork, effort, and the students' achievements, with strong support from teachers, parents, and the hosting high school.
Riverwood Elementary's Skate Night at Yukon on Wheels brought together staff, parents, and kids for an unforgettable evening of skating and community bonding. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event a roaring success, filled with laughter and memorable moments.

This week, Mrs. William's 3rd Grade class at Riverwood Elementary dove into the fascinating world of life cycles. The highlight? A visit from a bearded dragon! This special guest brought our science lesson to life, giving students a firsthand look at the life cycle of reptiles.

Mrs. Biggs, inspired by her recent training at the Ron Clark Academy, has introduced a creative and engaging way to learn adjectives to her second-grade class at Riverwood Elementary School. Using a game involving balloons, she has successfully transformed a traditional lesson into an exciting and memorable learning experience for her students.
At Riverwood Elementary, we believe in nurturing our students' creativity and communication skills from the earliest stages of their education. This week, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on Mrs. Rick's kindergarten classroom, where young minds are embarking on a remarkable journey through journal writing!
Riverwood Elementary is marking Read Across America Week with several classes moving their reading sessions outdoors.This special occasion allowed them to enjoy the beauty of nature while diving into stories, fostering a love for reading amidst the natural surroundings.
